After the procedure is complete, one is back to work within 5 to 7 days, but more physical work should be carried out after about 1 month. A proper working practice can be resumed after few days after the procedure. One should avoid works related to heavy exertion.
Also, recovery differs from person to person and depends upon implant type, placement site, technique type along with activities of daily routine. As the stitches come out within seven to ten days, swelling continues but subsides over weeks gradually becoming more apparent.
