| Eyebrow lift |
|
Eyebrow lift is a surgery that corrects drooping brows, upper eyelids, and sagging skin on the forehead. It is designed to help improve the horizontal lines that can make a person appear angry, sad, or tired. A brow lift is normally meant for the patients in the 40 to 60 years range, helping to minimize the visible signs of aging like it can smooth fine lines and creases, reposition the eyebrow line, and lift and remove excess forehead skin that has lost its elasticity with age. Brow lift will make you appear years younger, but will not change your appearance. |

| Technology |
There are two types of surgeries that can be done in this eye brow lift procedure.
The first procedure is known as classic lift or “ open” method where a surgeon will make one continuous incision starting at ear level and move up around the hair line. The incision is made behind the hairline so that the scar should not be visible after the surgery.
In the endoscopic lift, instead of making one long incision, a surgeon will make about 3 to 5 shorter incisions in the scalp, where a pencil-like camera device is inserted into one of the incisions. This is done so as the surgeon can view the tissues and muscles on a screen. Surgeon will then use another instrument inserted through a different incision, where the forehead skin is lifted and the muscles and underlying tissues are removed or altered to produce a smoother appearance. |
