| Forehead Lift |
Forehead Lift Surgery is an ideal treatment for ageing, tension and pollution related effects. The Forehead Lift procedure usually involves incisions in the hair-bearing scalp. Occasionally, incisions may be performed in the forehead, and/ or the upper eyelids. Once the incisions are made, various degrees of undermining of the skin are performed, and the deeper layers of the forehead are ‘lifted’. Muscles that depress the eyebrows may be disrupted. The skin and deeper layers are often then ‘fixed’ or attached to the bone. This way, it is possible to lift the forehead according to the facial requirements. |

| Recovery Time |
| It usually takes a couple of days for recovery. |
| Risks |
| Risks involved in this surgery include the damage of the facial nerves. Often, the muscles get weakened and also the patient becomes more prone to infection. At times, the patient can experience development of scars. These are some of the risks involved in Forehead Lift Surgery. |
| Technology |
| In order to complete a brow lift, the surgeon must make four incisions behind the patient's hairline. Each of the incisions is less than one inch long, which is large enough for the surgeon to insert a small camera called an endoscope. This allows him or her to look beneath the patient's skin in order to identify tissues and muscles that need to be removed in order to lift the brows and to create a younger looking forehead. Once the tissues and muscles are removed, the incisions are closed in a horizontal fashion in order to reduce the appearance of scarring and to improve the results of the procedure. |
